Goodbye 2024! ✨️🥂

This year was packed with wins—Logan absolutely crushed it on the ice, Jaxon was unstoppable on the field, there were some big moments at Bootlegger, and OMG, I got to work with so many amazing couples this year!!

But this was also another year of battling through a brutal lupus flare. New symptoms, new fears, and a lot of tough days. That said, the last few months brought a fresh start with a new rheumatologist and meds, and I’m finally feeling better than I have in years. Fingers crossed 2025 keeps the momentum going!

Here’s to the highs, the lows, and everything in between. I can't wait to see what happens this year!

@paperandpalm.ca and @blakecreativeco are incredible. We connected a few years ago and over the years, we've helped each other when in need of supplies, offered each other advice, and learned so much about each other.

One thing I love about our wedding community is the connections we make. It's no surprise how close @chantelledionephoto and I have become, she's the goddamn best, but I also think it says something when it's your competition!

I have been thinking about how far I've come these last 5 years and needed to share some love!

I’ve been looking back—and damn, it’s been a ride! 🥂

Looking back on how Asarye Paperie + Studio started, I’m blown away by what I’ve built and the incredible couples I’ve worked with. Designing wedding invitations for couples in good old Canada has been a privilege, and I’m so proud of how far this little business has come.

But here’s the thing—I’m not done. 2025 is going to be big. I’ve got plans, ideas, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s next. Semi-custom collections, digital options (because life happens, like Canada Post strikes 🤦‍♀️), and maybe even some new projects I haven’t dreamed up yet.

My grandfather was one of those who served. It's been 17 years since we lost him and about 20 since we stopped visiting Minto Armouries for their service. My aunt invited us today and it brings back so many memories!
