You’ve pictured your big day down to the details‚ and your wedding stationery should reflect that․ From the time your guests open your wedding invitation‚ to the very last detail at their table‚ your wedding stationery should be intentional‚ cohesive‚ and exactly what you envisioned․
I work one-to-one with every couple‚ from the first conversation all the way through to the finished printed piece․ No two weddings look the same․ Whatever you can dream up‚ I would love to design it‚ and I LOVE the ones that push the envelope with new ideas!
That’s what I do, and this is why I’m here.
Let’s make magic!
Your wedding invitations give your guests the first glimpse of what your wedding will be like‚ even before they see the venue‚ hear the music‚ or walk through the front door․ The first thing they hold in their hands will tell them exactly what kind of wedding they’re about to attend․ That first impression is more important than most couples realize‚ and it’s something I have in mind in every single suite I create․
Think about it from your guest’s perspective․ They open the envelope and in that moment they get a feeling․ Maybe it’s romantic and soft‚ maybe it’s bold and dramatic‚ maybe it’s modern and minimal․ But no matter what‚ it’s setting an expectation for the day․ An intentionally designed invitation suite builds anticipation in a way that nothing else can․ In the short amount of time it takes to read a wedding invitation‚ it lets you know this couple has thought of everything and this wedding is going to be something special․
That is exactly what I want your guests to feel when they open yours․
At Asarye Paperie + Studio‚ every invitation suite is designed entirely around you․ We craft each design from scratch‚ one client at a time․ I make you go through a long questionnaire where I can get a better sense of your style, your colour palette, inspiration photos, font style preferences… all to get to know you. All of this information helps me create something that’s uniquely yours. The paper‚ the printing method‚ the finishing details‚ all of it is together harmonious․
So whether you’re going for soft and romantic‚ dark and moody‚ maximalist and over the top‚ or clean and minimalistic‚ I can design it․ Seven years and I’ve been blessed to have designed so many different styles and tastes! Let’s make your first impression an unforgettable one․
We recommend ordering custom wedding invitations at least 6 months before your wedding. Due to our limited capacity, early booking is advised.
One invitation per household
This typically amounts to roughly 70% of your total guest count, which is what we use for quoting purposes unless you happen to already have your quantity set!
Things to Consider:
While we wish this was a one-size-fits-all scenario, there are many factors that determine the final price. This means each request comes with a custom quote for your event!
We also offer an All Inclusive Stationery Package. This package is carefully curated to provide everything you need for the best day ever, wrapped up in a neat little bow with clear pricing! Click here to check out the package.
Our minimum order is only 25 suites.
One important thing to keep in mind is that the custom design creation encompasses a large portion of our pricing. This will result in seeing a greater “per suite” price vs. larger quantities.
This is actually a loaded question but at the end of the day, it comes down to how how formal your wedding is. For more traditional weddings, we have information for our clients to guide them that follow the best etiquette. If you aren’t looking to go traditional, you’re free to address any way you’d like!
Cliché as it sounds, our biggest mission is to provide the best customer care possible. This means it’s our job to be here for you whenever you have questions and to guide you along!
The most common type of response card we create are for digital responses. This can mean an email, phone number or wedding website. We an even add a QR code for your guests to find your site fast!
Mail-in responses will never go out of style! For more traditional weddings, they are definitely still the norm. There are a few things to remember should you choose mail-back cards:
Most venues require a final head count 2-3 weeks before the wedding day. We recommend adding a minimum of one additional week.
This will give you some grace period to contact guests that may have forgotten to respond
Your job as the client is to have questions. Chances are, this is the first wedding you’re planning and you aren’t expected to have these answers!
We love to chat with couples about their wedding day: what is their vision, colours and style, is it formal or casual and really, we just love getting to know the couple. It helps us determine the items that they actually need vs what’s a nice-to-have. From there we can make some suggestions based on budget and go from there!
Some couples only need a single card invitation, others need 5 cards. It all depends on how much information you need to provide to your guests!
Think custom wedding stationery is the only place to let your personality shine? Think again․ Custom wedding signage is one of the most underrated parts of the wedding experience and honestly‚ one of my favourite things to design․
I most commonly print on foamcore‚ which is relatively rigid and light‚ and it can be anything from seating charts to bar menus․ The best part? It’s incredibly versatile․ Want it hung with ribbons? A custom shape cut to fit your vision? Done․ Foamcore is a standard material for wedding signage‚ and in the right hands‚ it is anything but basic․
Fabric signage is the next step when your business is ready to take it to the next level․ Before you talk yourself out of it‚ it is not the investment you think it is․ Sure‚ it’s a step above foamcore‚ but it’s still a genuinely budget-friendly option‚ and the wow factor it brings to a room is something you can’t deny․
The next level of wow factors… have you seen mirror signage? Whether it is with vinyl or hand-done calligraphy‚ it is one of those details that stops people in their tracks․ It’ll be there in every picture your guests take all night long‚ and you’ll be glad to have those pictures forever․
Whatever the vision is‚ I can design it and print it․ Let’s make your wedding signage as unforgettable as the day itself․
All the finishing touches like your invitation suite are important‚ but your stationery on the day-of is where the whole vision comes together․
Table numbers, menus and place cards are probably the most obvious part of your reception as it relates to your wedding decor․ They are directional in nature‚ guiding your guests to the correct place‚ yet they take it so much further․ They complete the same visual story from the time your guests open the invitation in the mail to the time they sit down at their table․ That continuity is what gives a wedding a feeling of being designed rather than decorated․
I like to think about it the same way I think about brand identity as a marketing manager․ A brand that uses consistent fonts‚ colors and tone across every touchpoint just feels right‚ even if guests can’t quite put their finger on why․ Wedding design works the same way․ Your save the dates set the mood․ Your invitation suite builds the visual story․ Your day-of stationery‚ your menus‚ your place cards‚ your table numbers‚ they are the final chapter of that visual story‚ and they deserve as much mindful attention as any other aspect of your wedding day․
The couples who come back to me after the wedding and say that the stationery was one of their favourite details? They’re almost always the ones who carried the design all the way through to the table․ It is a small percentage of the total cost of the wedding‚ but the payoff will be in the photos․
2-3 months ahead of the big day.
We recommend booking at the same time as your invitations to guarantee a spot for the wedding day because we do take on limited projects each year.
There are only two items that are required for the wedding day (of course there are exceptions) and those are a seating chart and table numbers. Everything beyond this is dependent on your wedding.
Plated dinner weddings should include menus and place cards. Your place card will include guest name, meal choice and allergy notices to ensure your guests’ safety.
Buffet and family style dinners can include menus for each guest, one for display on the table or none at all.
This is a matter of opinion for each couple. Most of our couples typically include their seating chart, a welcome sign, signature drinks and bar menus8 and a guestbook sign.
Additional ideas include unplugged ceremony signs, in memory for loved ones, sweets tables, etc. Honestly, your wedding can be anything you want it to be, so let’s be creative!
Our standard signage is printed on foamcore, a lightweight yet rigid board that’s easily displayed on an easel, tabletop easel or can be punched and hung with a ribbon.
We also offer acrylic and fabric signage prints as well as custom calligraphy and vinyl application on a variety of surfaces including acrylic, mirrors, etc.
I think my favourite thing is jumping out of the box and have the chance to create something brand new! I’ve had so many firsts: first fabric sign, first calligraphy mirror, first vinyl application and they have all turned out so beautifully. I would love to chat about your ideas and see what we can dream up!
Unlike other vendor categories, it’s always best to quote your needs for the smallest quantity you may need. We can always add additional prints as needed (don’t worry, we include this cost for you in your quote so you know exactly what to expect) but once a contract is signed, we cannot reduce your quantity.
It’s important to know that I understand sometimes, things change. If your quantity winds up below what was quoted, we can reallocate those funds to a fun bonus item for the big day!
These are a concept we began offering in an attempt to help couples reduce costs when they’re conscious of their budget.
This means each menu is printed with your guests’ names, meal choices and dietary restrictions right on the menu, saving you from needing to purchase additional place cards – it serves as both!
