I am obsessed with paper 🥰

Did you know I spent YEARS getting samples from every vendor I could find before I decided on what my "standard" paper stock would be?

My absolute favorite is this beautiful 111# textured stock. It's so deliciously thick, has such a beautiful feel in your hands... whenever I'm at a wedding show, I tell people to go and feel it. Sometimes I think it's weird but I'm so confident that everyone will LOVE it.

Paper is something you need to feel not just see!

I met this couple at the Engaged Boutique Wedding Show. Not only were they the SWEETEST people to meet, this stunning bride-to-be attended in a dress that truly told me everything I needed to know about their style.

Gentle, delicate flowers and a sweet custom illustration of their pup... these suites were nothing short of amazing to create and I absolutely can't wait until I can truly show them off!

Vanessa and Casey's wedding was truly from a dream. The simple black and white palette with hints of that pale pink? Take me back in time and I want this for my own wedding!

@melanie_parent_events created this incredible design but honestly, how would that surprise anyone? She's a true visionary and just so amazing at what she does!

This was one of the rare weddings I actually got to set up myself, and it never ceases to amaze me watching these incredible vendors work and see everything come together!

Yesterday, I was able to attend my first Digital Marketing Day! 🙌🎉

I went into this expertise not knowing what to expect. Turns out, I learned SO much and better yet, very applicable to what I do!

Natalie of @pegcitylovely was the PERFECT Emcee. So good!

@cleo_curtis from @brandishagency spoke about getting noticed and staying connected to your audience and it was phenomenal. She shared a case study that resonated with what I do at my new 9-to-5 and gave me a fresh perspective on how to approach our communications!

And THEN Marty Fisher of @theshowandtellagency dove into how AI is completely changing SEO and it was so eye-opening and actually so exciting!

Then we had the one with the feels - Doug Darling from @tripwiremedia coming in with the laughter and also with the info... reminding us that we can't be replaced by AI. Only we humans know how to invoke emotion and storytelling is how we stay relevant among all this AI-generated content!

I left this event feeling full. Full of ideas. Full of excitement. Full of motivation to keep learning and keep showing up and I cannot wait for the next one!

Two months ago, I was laid off 😫

With Ricki's, Bootlegger and Cleo entering creditor protection, myself along with so many others, were given a 10-week working notice. The uncertainty, the waiting and the stress leading up to it was so real.

I am so so blessed to have landed the PERFECT new role four days after the layoff notice... FOUR. DAYS. 🙌 And I'm at a place where not only is everyone amazing, I can truly see an amazing future here.

Since then, I've been adjusting to the new job, surviving during a bananas hockey season with Logan 🏒 and taking a breather so I could get my shit together.

Now that hockey is done and I've settled into my new role so beautifully, I am SO ready to start posting again, share some awesome stuff I get to work on and just... talk to you supportive humans on the internets again 😍
